Our Story

Kells Traditional Timber Windows & Doors

Kells Windows was established in 1997 and we are the largest manufacturer of reproduction and restoration windows and doors in Ireland.

We are a family run business and are situated in the heart of County Meath in the historic town of Kells.

For people who love their homes the Kells name stands for high quality, beautifully crafted timber windows and doors for conservation projects and period properties. Our highly skilled team of craftsmen are fully competent in traditional techniques and we specialise in designing, installing and restoring traditional windows and doors.

Kells Windows and doors are known for being beautifully crafted from the highest quality and best materials. Kells Windows are recognised for being manufactured from superior materials and all of our products are designed to enhance the energy efficiency of your home. Our New Heritage Eco sash window has been awarded an ‘A’ energy rating certificate for the complete window and all of our windows and doors are handcrafted from sustainable timber sources.

Kells don't employ sales people. You will never hear the following (so on and so fourth, ETC.. ETC.. or you know what I mean). A Kells representative has either worked in our workshop making windows and doors or has worked out on-site installing our windows and doors they even have done both. So if your worried that we are not pushy or we are not telling you we can do everything don't panic. Our windows and doors do the talking.

There are so many sub standard window and door products on the market it pays to do your research at the start. Just ask previous Swedex customers (Here today gone tomorrow). Remember buy on price buy twice.

If you are serious about getting the job done right then a trip down to our workshop & showroom outside Kells is well advised after all if you were going to invest in a new home, car or even a household appliance you would go and take a look.
